“Rajiv Gandhi Shiromani Award” is instituted by the Citizens’ Integration Peace Society, New Delhi each year for industrial individuals for their outstanding achievement and distinguished service to the nation. The award for 2010 has been accorded to Dr. Manoj Arukandathil, Ph.D and the same was presented to him at a symposium on “Rajiv’s Role in promoting National Integration “ on 22-08-2010 at Teen Murthy Bhavan, New Delhi by his Excellency Dr. Iqbal Singh, Lt. Governor of Pudussery in the presence of Shri. Balram Thacker, Former Lokha Sabha Speaker, His Excellency Shri. Balmiki Prasad Singh, Governor of Sikkim, Honourable Dr. Bhishma Naraian Sigh, Former Governor of Sikkim and Shri. GVG Krishnamurthy, former Election Commissioner of India.
